BUSHENYI H/C IV THEATER FINALLY GETS EQUIPMENT WORTH UGX 34 M, PREGNANT MOTHERS RELIEVED

Bushenyi district health center IV has today received theater equipment worth 34 million shillings from the municipal council to help in the running of the theater that has been non functional for over 5 years now.
The theater was constructed 5 years ago in 2015 with grants from the government of Japan but it has never been put to use due to lack of functional equipment.
Today, the equipment was handed over to the Health Centre in charge Dr. Viola Ninsiima by the area MP Gordon Arinda Cowboy.
Dr. Ninsiima confirmed to www.mknewslink.com that the health Centre received oxygen monitors, patient troy, operation lamp and many others that help pregnant mothers give birth by Cesarean section.
Deputy Mayor Lawrence Baryaruha said that as the municipal council they each financial year prioritise the Health Centre and ensure that it gets the lion’s share of the budget.
The area Member of Parliament for Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality Gordon Arinda Cowboy commended the municipal council for giving support to the Health Centre and assured that he will try to lobby for more equipment from the ministry to ensure that the theater begins operating.
