The managing director of Kituzi farm company, Moses Aruho has warned the youth in Bushenyi to stop fantasizing about getting rich out of the blue, but rather start small and grow big gradually.
Mr Aruho said this yesterday, January 31, 2025 at Kyeizoba sub county headquarters in Bushenyi district where he was addressing a group of youth from Kyeizoba Sub county and Rwentuha town council who converged for a youth seminar aimed at promoting their livelihood.
Speaking about his success story, he told the youth that he started by rearing goats which multiplied then he moved on to cattle and now owns the Kituzi farm company, the producer of the famous Kituzi drink across the country.
He also warned the youth to guard against acts of immorality and reckless living of drunkenness. “Move away from drinking. Beer is for rich people. Not you! So move away from that because it is too expensive for you adding that those drinks were made for the rich to reduce on their weight,” he explained.
Speaking politics to the youth, Aruho seriously warned the youth from engaging themselves in politics of the opposition. He said there was no opposition in the country but just political games being played by the opposition political players. He told the youth; “go slow on the opposition; instead support government programs brought to develop you. It is the government which has money so do not oppose it instead support it and see how to tap that money.”
Aruho and his Kituzi company contributed a sum UGX500,000 and asked them to join his Kituzi SAACO by opening up an account there.
Speaking at the same function, Mr. Jonas Tumwine who represented the managing director of national water and sewerage corporation, Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha as chief guest, advised the youth to avoid indiscipline acts and work for development of both their families and country.
Tumwine delivered UGX1.5M to the youth which he said was a contribution to the youth from Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha.
Bushenyi district LCV chairman, Jafal Bassajjabalaba was in attendance and contributed UGX200,000 to the youth. Mr Muyambi who plans to contest against Bassajjabalaba for the LCV seat also gave a contribution of UGX50,000.
