COMEDIENNE ANNE KANSIME’S FALLEN MOTHER LAID TO REST

Ms. Gauda Kubiryaba the fallen mother to Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime has been laid to rest.

She was laid to rest at their ancestral home in Kitanga, Kashambya Sub County Rukiga district yesterday.

Ugandan comedienne Anne Kansiime Kubiryaba has hailed her deceased mother, for educating her and encouraging her to become a big star that she is today.

The self-styled Queen of Comedy, who just delivered her first child, says it was through her mother’s inspiration and encouragement that she managed to make it to the big stage.

Her mother she said pushed her from childhood to strive hard and get through education and become successful.

“I will dearly miss Mum; she has been inspirational to me.  God’s ways are indeed not our ways being that God has decided to take her. We just have to accept,” she said.

The 66-year-old Gauda Kubiryaba, who was a Missioner at St. Luke Butobere Church of Uganda in Kabale municipality passed away on Saturday night in Kanungu following Kidney failure.
