Minister of defense also Bunyangabu MP Hon. Adolf Mwesige has supported the endorsement of president Museveni as a sole candidate in the coming presidential elections.
He said this while delivering his speech during the international Womens day celebrations held in Bunyangabu district Western Uganda.
The chief guest Yoweri Kaguta Museveni warned people of Rwenzori Region against getting involved in tribal wars which destabilize the security of the country.
He further argued these people not to be misled by opportunistic leaders who are promoting sectarianism and advised residents of Bunyangabu to first critically analyse peoples working abilities before they elect them as their leaders.
The president also expressed his concern on the high rate of vanilla thefty in the area tasking security to make sure this is dealt with .
