Police in Bushenyi yesterday arrested six clinic operators on charges of operating drug shops without licences.

According to SP Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi spokesperson, the arrested are ;Bikorwamukama Gilbert of Tumusiime clinic in Ishaka,Nakabugho Rosset of Katungu -Ishaka,Kyokunda Jackline and Nuwaha Privah of Nyabubare trading centre,Nahamya Godfrey of kahungye trading centre and Ninsiima Proscona of karama.

He added that the suspects were arrested during a survey by the police and the RDC Bushenyi Peter Mugisha aimed at getting those that operate clinics and drug shops illegally

Martial said that the suspects will appear before courts of law when police are through with investigations into these matters.
