Soft spoken singer Chris Evans Kaweesi has faced a baptism of fire from his followers after an open letter he wrote to Bebe Cool asking him to write to president to forgive Hon. Bobi Wine.
The Ndikusasulaki and Mulungi singer Chris Evans wrote asking Bebe Cool to write to president to be kind to Kyadondo East MP since he is just a phone call away from him unlike other artistes.
However, his letter has instead brought him more abuses rather than his fans to rally behind him as others called him an empty tin.
According to some of the comments that ran in his comment section, many said that the harmers he sustained where very few and suggested that he deserved more than what he got.
Below are some of the comments from Evans followers that have left him spanked.
Twinna Ssejjusa Pliz don’t bring immature people in big issues . They are beyond their level of understanding.

Nkaye Adam This man-like thing called Chris Evans should step up out of these issues coz its like u know nothing at all about what’s happening.
Precious Molly Very stupid fool, Bobi Wine has not committed any crime so there is no reason why he has to be forgiven. Are you really that stupid and shallow minded to believe that Bobi had guns, bullets and other firearms in his hotel-room. Be a critical thinker not an empty in.
JOSE CHAMELEONE RESPONDS TO HATERS ON BOBI WINE ISSUES
Following his open letter to the head of state to forgive jailed comrade, Jose Chameleone has openly declared how anxious to visit Bobi Wine he is.
The Beeyi Kaali singer Jose Chameleone, has come out to dissect and explain more about his letter addressed to the President that has been a subject to controversy for the language used. “Champion” also declared how much he felt for troubled workmate Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine and also openly declared how he badly wanted to visit the comrade.
In a long post on one of his social media platforms, Jose Chameleone posted,
“Following my most recent open letter to the Head of state, A section of people strongly stated there was and is no reason for now detained brother and member of Parliament Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi to stand in forgiveness.
My letter did neither ask him to apologize nor portray him as an offender but directed to mend the relationship between him and the head of state as leaders of society.
As a brother, Fellow artist, Father and family man, I believe his Family, Friends, Fans and people want him in the best shape possible but most importantly to be available, Provide, Love and stand with them.
I await If given a chance since even his closest family members have been denied access, To visit a brother, Friend and son of our nation.
Bobi wine, Know we love you and pray God protects and strengthens you in such a time.

It is remembered that Bobi Wine was arrested early this week on grounds of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition before being sent to Makindye military barracks until 23rd August when he will be paraded in court.
