Five Pakistan Nationals and a Ugandan have been arrested in Kisoro
district over alleged forgery and uttering false statements.
The suspects are, Sarwar Muhammad, Khalil Muhammad, Bashir Muhammad, Haroop Umar, and Muhamood Asif all of Pakistan origin and Winene Coston Yosia, a Ugandan.
The Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate said that the suspects
were arrested on Monday at around 10:30 am at Musanze border of Rwanda heading to Goma in the Democratic Republic Congo having exited through Cyanika boarder.
Maate said that proper scrutiny by the immigrations officials at
the Musanze border was done and the suspects were arrested having found that they presented fogged resident permits.
He however said that police are making arrangements to transfer them to
Kampala for further management.
