Bushenyi needy are to receive scholarship courtesy of Bamugisha Community Foundation a nongovernmental organization based in Bushenyi.
This was revealed by Ms. Annet Mugisha, the wife to Eng. Silver Mugisha, the managing director of national water and Sewerage Corporation at Mwengura church of Uganda during a Sunday service.
Ms Annet said that scholarships are already in the pipeline and confirmed that they are coming soon.
She also revealed that Bamugisha community organization donated hoes in every village in Bushenyi as measure to fight against hunger and malnutrition in the district.
Earlier this year, Bamugisha donated over 300 goats to widows all the 13 sub-counties and divisions of Bushenyi district.
Rev. Laban the parish priest at Mwengura Church of Uganda expressed his appreciation to Bamugisha and promised to continue inviting such guests for the development of the church and the area at large.
Charles Maranga, who represented Micheal Mawanda MP, Igara East revealed that in May, there will be official opening of new church premises, a function that will be presided over by the Prime minister of Uganda Rt. Hon Dr. Rukana Rugunda.
