101 YEAR OLD MOTHER TO MITOOMA WOMAN MP LAID TO REST

Tophas Kendaba, 101 years, the mother to the Mitooma district woman Member of Parliament Jovah Kamateeka was yesterday (Monday) laid to rest at her ancestral home in Mitooma Town council, Mitooma district.
Kendaba succumbed to sickness on Saturday 16th 2019 at Kampala International Hospital in Ishaka.
Speaking at the burial of her mother, Jovah Kamateeka asked people to always cooperate in times of need and avoid political differences that are becoming a big threat in Mitooma district.
The Mitooma district Former LC5 chairperson advised people not to vote people who are hungry for power adding that they end up dividing voters for political benefits.
The burial was attended by many politicians especially from Mitooma district including, Wilber Byaboneka the NRM Chairperson ,Tom Tayeebwa, MP Ruhinda North, Capt Dononzio Kahonda MP Ruhinda, residents among others.
Residents who talked to our reporter shortly after the burial described the late Tophas Kendaba as a good mother, loving, caring and developmental.
