12 YEARS OLD PUPIL ESCAPES FROM KIDNAPPERS; RUNS TO SHEEMA POLICE

Police in Sheema are stranded with a 12 years old girl who escaped narrowly from death after being kidnapped by un known thugs on 17th September 2018.
Komujuni Stellah, a primary six pupil from Kabale village, Kooki in Rakai district narrated her kidnap story to Mk News link that “My aunt whom I stay with had sent me at the road to buy milk, when I reached there, one man asked me ‘do you want milk? ‘, I said yes, I then gave him a jug and money worth 20000 shs, he told me to pick for him his jacket which was in his car which he said that it’s was where changed money was, Narrated Komujuni.
She adds that as soon as I entered the car for a jacket, two men appeared and tied my face with a dark cloth and drove me up to a certain trading centre where they packed their car, un tied me and they went may be to buy some things and they left me inside the car alone. Fortunately, they forgot to lock the car windows. I opened them and ran away without looking behind for like two km up to when I reached a certain sign post reads NYEIHANGA TRADING CENTRE WELCOMES YOU She adds that she narrated the whole story to the person she met who immediately took me to police and that’s how I survived.
Komujuni told Mk Newslink.com that she still recognize the faces of the kidnappers if she meets them.
Ms Ngerise Jane inspector of police in charge of gender and family protection Sheema district advised parents to avoid sending their children in some places when they are alone.
She said that Sheema district has so far recorded many cases relating to child sacrifices and kidnaps.
SP Hillary Mukiza DPC Sheema district said that the police is working hard collecting money for transport to take Stellah back home area such that she can continue with her studies.
