13 YEARS OLD MISSING KABALE PUPIL FOUND ALIVE, TWO ARRESTED

Police in Kabale have two women in detention over alleged abduction of a 13 years old girl.
The suspects are Glorious Tibarihire 55 of Gwabashenda cell Kaharo parish and Peace Bwesigye 60 of Ryamujungu cell, Nyakasharara parish both of Kaharo sub county Kabale district.
They were arrested on Tuesday 12th June 2018 for allegedly abducting Shanitah Ampeire a pupil of Kaharo primary school Kaharo sub county Kabale district. Ampeire from Kacerere in Bufundi sub county Rubanda district went missing yesterday morning when she left home for school to unknown place.
The Director Vulnerable Children Surgeries Africa Emmanuel Twebaze who is also the guardian and the Kaharo primary schools head tecaher Andrew Basesa said that together with security, they mounted massive hunt and the girl was found in Peace Bwesigye’s home in Nyakasharara parish. Twebaze told www.mknewslink.com that Ampeire was lured away by Tibarihire to get her a job.
However Basesa said that when he interrogated Ampeire, she accused Twebaze’s wife for mistreating her, a thing that prompted her to run away from home.
The Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, warned the public against keeping strangers in their homes due to the increasing kidnaps and murders in the country.
Maate added that the inquiries are underway to establish the motive for which the suspects abducted the girl and they will be arraigned before courts of law and charged accordingly.
However, the duo when asked they denied allegations.
