14 YEAR OLD GIRL’S LIFE CUT SHORT BY SPEEDING VEHICLE IN KABALE

In Kabale—

Police in Kabale are investigating circumstances under which a 14 year old girl’s life was cut short by a vehicle.

According to the Kigezi Regional spokesperson Elly Maate the deceased is Denise Ainebyona daughter to Justus Byomuhangi of Nyamirambira B” village Kicumbi parish Kamuganguzi sub county Kabale district.

Maate told www.mknewslink.com reporter that Ainebyona was knocked dead by a speeding vehicle car reg. no UBG659 G double cabin Toyota Hilux driven by one Kitaka Abdul of Mukono.

The accident happened today 30/06/2021 morning at around 09:00hrs along Katuna Kabale highway few meters from her home when she was knocked from behind while riding a bicycle.

The said vehicle continued until it was intercepted from Muhanga police check point and it is now parked at Kabale police station pending inspection.

Postmortem has already been done and body handed over to relatives for burial while inquiries into the matter are ongoing.
