17 ADF REBELS SO FAR KILLED ,13 CAPTURED

At least 17 ADF rebels have been confirmed dead and 13 are captured.

This is after UPDF intercepted them while crossing to River semliki in Ntoroko district. They crossed into kyanga and other villages neighboring Uganda.

The commander of the mountain division and operation shujaa, Maj Gen Dick Olum said that some could have drowned into river semliki while fleeing from the UPDF.

The ADF have accused of slaughtering Congolese civilians and carrying bomb attacks in the neighboring Uganda.

By Tuesday morning, hundreds of locals fled their homes in Kibuuku, Butumgama, Rwelamule sub county and camped at Karungutu primary school.
