2 ARRESTED OVER RAPE, MURDER OF VALLEY UNIVERSITY STUDENT

Two people have been arrested in connection to the murder of Valley university student Susan Kyatuhaire.
According to a credible source from the CID department at Bushenyi central police station, one was arrested from unfinished house near the scene while another one was tracked by a canine dog.
The lifeless body of Susan Kyatuhaire was on Wednesday 9th Nov. 2022 at around 2300hrs found naked on the veranda of her rented house in Kitookye cell, Central Division, Ishaka Bushenyi municipality few minutes after she had left town.
SP Martial Tumusime the Greater Bushenyi police spokesperson later told reporter that they were informed and they responded immediately with a canine dog which helped them to track one suspect.
He added that they also removed her body and took it to KIU teaching Hospital for postmortem while inquiries are under way.
Sources close to the deceased intimated to this reporter that basing on her last WhatsApp status, Susan suspected she would die any time
“If I survive this week, it means I can handle marriage, Kuba ebintu sibyangu,” was Susan’s last status on WhatsApp.
