2 FOUND DEAD IN KANUNGU

 Elly Maate the Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson identified the deceased as Joshua Akampurira aged 21 years and his wife Prudence Natukunda 20 years residents of Kibimbiri village Rusoroza parish Kihihi sub county Kanungu district but the woman hails from Nyagadi cell Kagyendero parish Bugangari sub county Rukungiri district.

 Maate said that today 22nd July,2022 at about 09:00am Biramahire Eldad a land lord went to check on his tenants at Kibimbiri trading centre and found the house closed with a kid crying from inside and he ordered the community members around to break into, that’s how they found the two dead bodies who might have died at unknown time of the night.

Maate revealed that police visited the scene and a Rwenzori battle with liquid substance suspected to be poison was recover under their bed and the two bodies retrieved and taken to Kihihi health center iv for postmortem.

 Inquiries at hand to establish the cause of deaths and the motive.
