2 RUBANDA MEN ON RUN AFTER BEATING BROTHER TO DEATH

Police in Rubanda are hunting two people who murdered their mental illness brother over yet to be established reasons.

Kigezi Regional police spokesperson Elly Maate identified the suspects as Nahwera Nicholas aged 15 years and Twinamatsiko Obed aged 25yearS both residents of Rwamugura village Kakore parish Hamurwa subcounty in Rubanda

It’s alleged that on 2^nd January 2022 at around 11:00am, the duo tied up their brother Mwebihire Methodius, beat him up before locking him inside the house.

According to the chairman LC1 Rwamugura village Kakore parish  Mr Mujuruzi Robert at around 2100hrs, the deceased succumbed to the injuries he sustained due to the beating.

The Police visited the scene and the case was registered at Rubanda Police Station under reference number CRB 003/2022 to help in investigations as the Police continue to hunt for the suspects.
