BANK OF UGANDA GOVERNOR PRAYS AT SHEEMA CHURCH, DONATES 20M

IN SHEEMA—
The Bank of Uganda Governor Prof. Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile Sunday Nov. 20, 2016 attended a church service at St. Emmanuel church Kabwohe and donated to the church 20 million Uganda shillings.
According to sheema district leaders, the money is meant to renovate the same church he prayed from.
Prof. Mutebile was accompanied by the minister of tourism and wildlife and MP sheema south in Sheema district Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu and senior presidential advisor Chris Rwakasisi.
While briefing the Mutebile at launch time held at Ankole western University, Rwakasisi hailed the vice chancellor, Rev. Canon Dr.Edida Mujinya for steering the institution to higher level.
“Governor of the Bank of Uganda, I would like to tell you that this woman[vice chancellor], has done what the professors, bishops and many people of different categories have failed to do here before” Rwakasisi said.
Ankole western University last year acquired license to work as a university however before it had been affiliated to Uganda christian university-Mukono. It will start offering its degrees.
