PROF. KABWEGYERE SLAMS RICH GANG FOR THROWING MONEY INTO IVAN SEMWANGA’S GRAVE

IN BUSHENYI—
Former minister for disaster preparedness and relief Prof. Tarsis Kabwegyere has labeled the act of throwing money into the grave at the late Ivan Semwanga’s burial Tuesday as assign of disrespect to the national currency.
Kabwegyere said the national currency should be given respect regardless and it shouldn’t be misused like that because it degrades its value
He noted that on similar occasion people poured booze on money as assign of bidding fare well to their departed colleagues saying it degrades the value of the national currency.
He said this while officiating as a chief guest at a function where Ishaka Farmers Sacco’s launch of Islamic Banking in greater Bushenyi. The Sacco was selected by micro-finance support center to pilot the progress of the bank in the sub-region
The nation went into frenzy early this week when the so called rich gang members threw money in the grave of their fallen colleague Ivan Semwanga who died in South Africa last week a move Kabweyere as rebuffed
In the similar incident reports have emerged that Ivan Semwanga is not dead. This follows pictures that appeared in social media yesterday of the late semwanga in a plastic surgery in Lebanon.
