A modern kids’ day care opens tomorrow Monday July 31 2017 in Tank hill cell Central division in Bushenyi town.

There have been an outcry for lack of a kids’ day care in Bushenyi Town and parents have been complaining but the proprietor says, they should use the opportunity as quickly as possible.

According to the director of Glorious Day Care Mr.Nicholas Kagurusya, the facility has a special day care for pupils during day and half days.

Kagurusya added that the fees structure is affordable to every Ugandan parents and guardians.

Meanwhile locals welcomed the idea as they have spent years without a day care facility and house maids have became a menace to their kids.

Director, Kagurusya noted that he will have grand opening of the facility on Aug. 27, 2017 with a kids bash to welcome school going children to a holiday.

The Ntungamo district council has suspended journalists from attending
council sessions accusing them of amplifying dissenting voices over
the individual councilors benefit from the youth livelihood project.
At least 6 councilors from the district council were pinned in the
misuse of the youth livelihood programme when Gender minister Janet
Mukwaya visited the district at the beginning of this year. The
councilors allegedly got the funds for projects but never established
projects also failing to pay back the hefty amounts of money gotten
from the district in 2014. No one among the six councilors have
refunded a single coin.
The councilors include the Itojo sub county councilor Muhumuza Denis
Savimbi, the Ntungamo sub county councilor Naboth Mpirirwe, the
Ruhaama sub county councilor Benards Ahabwe, the Eastern division
councilor Bukenya Ronald, the district youth councilor Nicholas
Muhumuza and the former district youth councilor Benon Rutogogo.
They took 12.5 million shillings each using their offices when they
were still members of the district youth council. Other beneficiaries
included district civil servants. None has however refunded a single
coin and the district currently stands at 15% on YLP recovery level.
A motion moved by Savimbi was seconded by Bukenya and later ruled on
by the district speaker Elijah Atuheire who however cautioned the
councilors against defending themselves from public sentiments.
Following the motion at least 7 journalists who had attended the
Thursday council session were asked to move out  were neither called back nor given an explanation
