President Yoweri Museveni has challenged married couples to take their marriages vows seriously and continue being good examples of marriage to the young generation.

In a speech read for him by the Prime minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda during the wedding ceremony for Rubanda East MP Henry Musasizi and Jane Francis Kyomuhendo the president said committing oneself through marriage is a great responsibility and a lifeline commitment and requires seriousness to avoid many waves which shake up families and that they should always remain committed and look up to God to overcome such

President Museveni who gave the newly couple 20 cows hailed MP Musasizi for being a good movement cadre and active in NRM politics.

Hon Musasizi tied the knot wedding at St Mary’s Catholic Church Rushoroza and later hosted his guests at Mpugu, Hamurwa in Kabale district.

A number of ministers and members of parliament from all political divide attended the function which Prime minister said was a good gesture that set excellent example of making bonds that unite the country.
