COL.BESIGYE’S CAR WINDOW SCREENS SMASHED TO PULL HIM OUT BY FORCE, TEAR GAS SPRAYED ENTIRE RUKUNGIRI COURT PREMISES, SUPPORTERS

Security forces composed of police, UPDF and ISO were forced this evening at 6:30 pm to crash Col. Kizza Besigye’s vehicle window screens to remove him by force after an eight hour standoff at Rukungiri chief magistrates court.
According to www.mknewslink.com news reporter who was been camped at court since morning, Col. Besigye refused to adhere to police orders which directed him to go to Kampala but not his home in Rwakabengo Rukungiri district.
The police also never wanted Col. Besigye to hold a procession in Rukungiri town but for him, he wanted to first rest at is country home in Rwakabengo and even insisted on holding the procession.
When security forces tried all means and failed, they decided to use forceful means of crashing/smashing windows screens of passenger side and driver but still failed.
www.mknewslink.com reporter added that they decided to crash the front window screen and at this point, security forces used the strongest tear gas and sprayed a huge number of Besigye supporters. The entire Rukungiri court premises were covered by tear gas smock.
Even all journalists were teargased and ordered to leave the court premises. Eye witnesses told this editor that there were a lot of ugly scenes and Rukungiri chief magistrates court.
Col. Besigye, Ingrid Turinawe and five others were released by Rukungiri chief magistrates court today morning after spending a week in police cells at Nagalama in Kampala.
On Wednesday last week, Two people were shot dead in Rukungiri and other two sustained injuries after police fired at them while going to the district stadium for anti-age limit removal rally.
