BUSHENYI YOUTH LEADERS DENOUNCE MAGYEZI’S AGE LIMIT BILL

Bushenyi district NRM youth leaders have anonymously denounced Igara-west MP;Raphael Magyezi on the contentious Age Limit Bill that intends to amend article 102(b) of Uganda’s constitution.
The youth councilors from Igara west who held their meeting at Tuzza Hotel in Bushenyi yesterday said MP Magyezi is championing his own views for personal gains without consulting his constituents.
They insisted that they should be consulted instead of being taken for guaranteed.
The youth who were led by their district youth chairperson; Gilian Kakonge and their female youth councilor Rose Atuhaire insisted that they should be consulted on the contentious bill so that they can also consult their voters about the matter.
They also warned their district youth councilor; Nicholas Niwagira against misleading them about the contentious Age limit bill. They accused him of being funded by the State house to bribe them to support the controversial bill.

Niwagira had come to the meeting with yellow ribbons meant for the NRM youth who support Magyezi bill but to his surprise his offer was rejected.
The youth say they can’t just support the bill without being consulted by their area member of parliament.
