The Director Manifesto Implementation in the office of the president also the former LCV Chairman for Bushenyi District Mr.Willis Bashaasha last evening finally broke silence and revealed the reasons why he is against the methods of tycoon Hassan Basajjabalaba.
“I am not at all against Hassan as a person but I’m against his methods of work” Willis Revealed.
“I am sorry I have gone personal but it is necessary I am against the methods of Bushenyi NRM chairman because they are forceful” Willis said.

Willis Bashaasha said this last evening July 4, 2018 at Bushenyi Premier Motel while presenting a paper on the challenges of Bushenyi during the one-year anniversary celebrations of ‘MAKE BUSHENYI GREAT AGAIN’ a pressure group in Bushenyi district.
“For example a chairman of the district is elected and then tycoon Hassan comes and says make so and so a speaker when actually it’s the council to elect such a leader” Willis added.
The differences between Willis and Hassan started around 2011 and have been raging on since then.
The situation worsened when Hassan decampaigned Willis openly in the Bushenyi-Ishaka NRM parliamentary primaries when Tycoon supported Arinda Gordon Cowboy.
Tycoon Hassan worked very hard to ensure that Willis who was very popular lost to Cowboy.

Butchers in central division Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality have threatened to lay down their tools in protest if they are not granted their own abattoir. The butchers through their chairman Mr. Godfrey Kasiribano demand the municipal authorities to grant them permission to slaughter their animals from their abattoir located in Bushenyi town central division.
The butchers who were ordered to slaughter their animals from Nyakabirizi abattoir noted that they are often mistreated by their fellows from Nyakabirizi division who deny them services like water. They added that transportation of animals is also difficult and costly.
However the Bushenyi Deputy RDC Damiano Turyatunga who presided over a stakeholders’ meeting of Municipal and Butchers held at Bushenyi Ishaka Municipal council hall, resolved that Butchers from Central division must slaughter their animals from Nyakabirizi for one week as the authorities are working on their issue.
Turyatunga also noted that no one will be allowed to slaughter from other places thereby warning all those who can’t go to Nyakabirizi to leave the business.
Tushabe Gregory the Bushenyi deputy District Health Officer expressed his concern on the hygiene of slaughter places noting that it is dangerous to people’s lives. He thus urged the butchers to willingly accept to use Nyakabirizi since it is the only standard abattoir in the Municipality. He noted that it should be every one’s concern to protect people’s lives.
The authorities also tour all slaughtering places in Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality which were in very poor conditions.

Women have been called upon to make sure they go for regular cervical cancer screening.
According to Dr. Henry Wasswa, the service in charge Reproductive health Uganda Bushenyi branch, this type of cancer which is caused by a virus called Human Pappiloma Virus HPV,once tested and detected early, can be treated.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com at his office, wasswa warned that people with sexual multi partners, smokers, HIV positive women, those involved in sex at an early age, poor diet takers among others are at higher risks of getting cervical cancer.
Dr.wasswa said that 90%of the people in the whole world who die of this cancer are from African countries this putting Ugandans at stake. He also noted that the victim may live with HPV for 10-15 year before it develops into cancer.
He said that some of the signs which show that one may be having this cancer are; bleeding even when not in menstruation periods, painful sexual intercourse, bleeding after sex, loss of weight, and sweating at night

Costa Rica’s football federation has parted ways with coach Oscar Ramirez after a disappointing World Cup showing by the Central American nation.
“Oscar Ramirez will not continue as coach, his contract has expired,” the federation’s president Rodolfo Villalobos told a press conference.
Costa Rica went out of the competition in the group stage, after failing to win a match. They lost their opening two games to Serbia and Brazil, before drawing their final game 2-2 with Switzerland.
Ramirez has been in charge since 2015, only a week after being appointed as Paulo Wanchope’s assistant. Ramirez stepped up after Wanchope was involved in a fight in Panama and resigned as head coach.
“We believe that his continuing is not appropriate or convenient, we believe in his ability, but the executive committee has decided not to renew his contract,” Villalobos said.
“I want to thank Oscar for his dedication, his professionalism, his discipline and his teaching.”
Villalobos said the Fedefut’s executive committee would now begin a search for a coach to take the team through qualification for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Costa Rica’s style came in for sharp criticism under Ramirez and drew unfavorable comparisons with their showing in the last World Cup in Brazil when they reached the quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

COLOMBIA’s ZUNIGA RETIRES FROM INTERNATIONAL CAREER

Juan Camilo Zuniga, the player who ended Brazilian superstar Neymar’s World Cup participation four years ago, announced his retirement on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Colombian wing-back was involved in a collision with Neymar in a quarter-final match at the Brazilian World Cup in 2014 that resulted in the forward suffering a broken vertebrae.
Neymar’s World Cup was over and without their talisman Brazil suffered the humiliation of losing 7-1 to eventual champions Germany in the semi-finals.
After himself suffering two injury-plagued years, an emotional Zuniga said: “Today I’m thinking about my future, my family. I’m stepping aside so that tomorrow, when I want to to run around in the park with my children, I’ll be able to do so.”
The wing-back began and ended his career at Medellin club Atletico Nacional but spent much of his career in Italy, notably a nine-year spell at Napoli.
He spent one season in England at Watford, scoring his only goal for the Hornets against Manchester United.
But he was widely seen as the villain of the 2014 World Cup by fans of the host nation for his role in Neymar’s injury.
Brazil’s then captain Thiago Silva branded Zuniga “a coward” over the challenge, in which the Colombian’s knee made contact with Neymar’s back.

WILLIAN WARNS CHELSEA TEAM MATE HAZARD AHEAD OF WORLD CUP BATTLE

Brazil star Willian says he is looking forward to coming out on top when he faces his club colleague Eden Hazard in the World Cup quarter-final between Brazil and Belgium.
The teams meet in Kazan on Friday evening with Brazil the favourites, despite the quality in a Belgian side captained by Hazard, who plays with Willian at Chelsea.
“He is a very humble player and I like being with him on a daily basis at club level. But now it is time for each of us to defend our corner and I hope to come out on top,” Willian said at Brazil’s training base in Sochi on Wednesday.
“He is one of the best players in the world, but now I am on a different side and I want to do everything to win. I know we will remain friends after,” added the 29-year-old, who will also be facing Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Willian is expected to keep his place in coach Tite’s starting line-up for the game after producing his best performance at the World Cup so far in Monday’s 2-0 victory against Mexico.
It was a performance which suggested the five-time winners of the trophy were comfortable with their tag as favourites, having recorded three straight wins since an opening 1-1 draw against Switzerland.
“The team has evolved since the first game,” Willian added. “There was nervousness in that first match, a more complicated start against Switzerland, and we have grown step by step. I think we are at the same level as in the qualifiers.”
He added that Neymar is getting better by the game, but the same can be said of Willian himself, who is one of the few survivors from the 2014 squad.
“I am more mature and have more experience than at the last World Cup, and the team is more consistent,” insisted Willian, who appeared from the bench in the 7-1 semi-final humiliation against Germany in 2014.
Brazil will leave their base on Russia’s Black Sea coast for the final time on Thursday to head to Kazan for Friday’s game.
With Marcelo and Douglas Costa having shaken off injuries, it is the first time in this World Cup that Tite has had his whole squad fit.
However, Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro will miss the match due to suspension, with Fernandinho expected to replace him.

“They still need to decide for sure whether it will be her or Kanye making the actual run for the Oval Office, and right now, it looks like it will be Kim. The insider adds that the husband and wife duo, who have children North, Saint and Chicago, work as a team, meaning Kim would happily listen to her other half’s policy ideas
Kim is allegedly ready to use a large chunk of her fortune, amassed from the TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as well as numerous business ventures, including her KKW Beauty make-up brand, to further her political career.

The Speaker of Parliament has warned of disciplinary action against Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze over her continued absence from Parliament despite her poor health.
Nambooze was flown to India in November last year for specialised management of injuries she suffered to her backbone during the age-limit debate scuffle that erupted in Parliament on September 27, 2017.
Although she was able to walk and stand again after her return, Ms Nambooze said she stayed away due to pain and discomfort from the metals inserted into her back, preventing her from executing her parliamentary duties.
But Parliament Speaker Rebecca Kadaga in her letter to Ms Nambooze dated 7th june 2018 warned that it had come to her notice that in the last session, nambooze absented herself from nineteen (19) out of the twenty three (23) meetings of the committee on Public Service and Local Government without permission Which is contrary to Rule 111(6) and 112(1 &2) of the Rules of Procedure of Parliament
In the same letter, Ms Kadaga said Ms Nambooze’s continued absence from the committee affected its work and undermined the performance of Parliament in general, noting that most of the work in plenary comes from committees.
Kadaga therefore, notified nambooze that persistent absence from committee activities in the next session will attract disciplinary action proceedings against her under Rules 111(7) and 112(2) of the Rules of Procedures of Parliament.
But Ms Nambooze, who confirmed receiving the letter, expressed dismay, saying she had endeavoured to communicate whenever she was to leave Parliament and the Speaker has been aware of her poor health.
She noted that she had been sick since September last year and got the letter two days later even when it was dated June 7.
Ms Nambooze told Journalists yesterday at Bugolobi Medical Centre in Kampala just before leaving to India for further treatment that as indicated in the letter she had written to the Speaker, this letter was sent to her erroneously and that she thought in normal circumstances, the Parliament spokesperson would apologise for sending this letter.
Ms Nambooze for the second time yesterday left for Manipal Hospital in India following what she called her brutal arrest by the police on charges of inciting violence after the death of Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga on June 8, 2018. She was accompanied by her husband, and personal doctor.
Ms Nambooze said her second brutal arrest inflicted more injuries on her back, worsened her old condition and displaced one of the screws inserted in her back.
Meanwhile some other MPs received similawarning letters on absenteeism but it could not be officially verified as Parliament’s director of communication Chris Obore declined to comment on the matter. He said he could only comment on such letters to MPs when given authority from the Speaker.
