CELEBRITY NEWS: FIK FAMEIKA SAYS HE WANTS TO WORK WITH MADOX NOT BEBECOOL

Few days ago, Bebe Cool confessed that he loved Fik Fameica’s music, something that sparked off speculations that the two could be in studio cooking new music.

However Fik Fameica says he yearns and dreams working with the legendary musician, Maddox Ssematimba.

While appearing on Kansanga based Galaxy FM’s “Evening Rush” Show with Prim and Littlejo, Fik Fameica was asked about the artiste he would like to ork with.

He proudly replied, “Maddox. He is the man I want to work with.

So many people have been claiming that I am working on a collabo with  Bebe Cool because he said he loves my music, but no, I don’t dream working with Bebe Cool.”

It should be noted that few days ago, it was reported that Maddox rejected Fik Fameica’s request of redoing his song.

This could be a stunt by Fik Fameica to trick Maddox to grant his request.

Local artistes have come out to seek financial support from Savings and Credit Co-operatives Societies (SACCOs)  through access to affordable credit.

While attending an induction of members of the SACCOs leaders at Bugolobi Royal Suites in Kampala on Friday, artistes through their coordinator Geoffrey Lutaaya, of Da Nu Eagles, told John Peter Mujuni, the Uganda Microfinance Support Centre(MSC) executive director that they need financial support in form of low-interest loans in order for them to boost their music.

The artistes further asserted that the banks and moneylenders are unwilling to lend them money yet most financial institutions do not consider their concerts as collateral to secure loans.

National water and Sewerage Corporation NWSC Bushenyi area has today July 25, 2018 through West Ankole Civil Society Forum [WACSOF] donated a number of items that included clothes, shoes and bags among others to the needy.

According to the manager NWSC Bushenyi area Mr.Francis Kateeba, this has been done as part of their corporate social responsibility where they give back to their customers.

He noted that NWSC deals with the community in their operations thus a need to get much closer to them.

H added that this closeness brings about cooperation between NWSC and the public and in case of any need, the public approaches the corporation freely.

He noted that National Water is the Government project that has come out to prove its worth by playing the corporate social responsibility.

National water and sewerage corporation Greater Bushenyi also gave items to moslems at the climax of their fasting season recently. All mosques in the sub-region received items like rice and sugar.

Grade one magistrate’s court in Bushenyi has today convicted and remanded a UPDF soldier on charges of simple robbery.

Court presided over by hisworship Mujuni Paul heard that 6^th September 2016KatsigareBenon a resident of Buhimba ,Kitwe,Kabugimbi and other five at large attacked KomushanaKellen while from burial and robbed her of her sh.170000 using actual violence.

According to the prosecutions side,Katsigaire dropped his identification documents during the attack which Komushana, the complainant took and reported to the police.

The convict pleaded not guilty to the offence saying his documents had been stolen by unknown person at the burial that same day.

He was convicted of simple robbery whose maximum sentence is 10 years, and remanded until 25^thJuly 2018 when he will appear before the same court to be sentenced.
