446 CANDIDATES GRADUATE AT ALLIANCE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL-IBANDA

A total of 446 candidates of Alliance vocational school in Ibanda district yesterday graduated in different disciplines of certificates and diploma for both business and vocational studies.
It was the fifth graduation ceremony since the school started in 2006 according to the records of the school.
While officiating as the Chief Guest, the deputy executive secretary, Uganda Business and technical examinations Board (UBTEB), Dr. Winfred Nahamya asked parents to always take their children in schools which are licensed by the National Council for higher education for the betterment of their future in job careers.
Dr Nahamya represented Mr. Onesmus Oyesiga, the executive secretary of
Uganda business and technical examinations board who was out of the
country.
He thus congratulated the students for having not ashamed their parents in passing the examinations and urged them to have faith in the positions they are holding much as they earn little money.
Osbert Aheebwe, the principal of Alliance vocational School, out of 446 who graduated yesterday, 269 are females while 177 are males.
Aheebwe applauded parents and students for having chosen Alliance vocational School and hoped that all the students who are trained at Alliance vocational school will not regret.
The principal also urged them to respect supervisors, love their jobs, not to rush for wealth in short time and respecting citizens of Uganda.
The chairperson Board of directors Alliance Group Of Companies, Mzee Jeeb Rwomushana promised the parents that the 32 candidates who scored First Class diploma and distinctions in certificates will be offered half bursaries at Ibanda University.
Mzee Rwomushana added that the directors are happy to produce job creators but not job seekers.
