ARCHBISHOP BAKYENGA HAILS UNIVERSITY OF ST JOSEPH PIONEER STUDENTS

The Archbishop of Mbarara Archdiocese His grace Paul Kamuza Bakyenga has hailed the pioneer students of university of St. Joseph Mbarara for loving God and deciding to have a special Sunday in the cathedral as they prepare for their end of first semester exams.
University of St .Joseph opened shop on 13th August 2018 and is situated opposite holy innocent children hospital on Kaberebere-Mbarara high way.
He said this today during a special service for students and staff of University of St Joseph Mbarara held in Nyamitanga cathedral today morning 2nd Dec.2018.
While preaching, the Archbishop quoted a book written by Charles Dickens great expectations noting that the community, church and parents expect a lot from them, therefore should live to the expectations.
The guild president of the youngest university Denis Basiime called upon the archbishop of Mbarara to always have hope in the students as he prays for them all the time.
The deputy vice chancellor of the University Fr. Dr. Patrick Mbyemeire gave a status report of the University and noted that it has 11 courses and can be accessed on their website.
He said that they are to introduce new programmes that include Bachelor of agriculture, Bachelor of science in education secondary(Computer studies,Maths,Geography)and Bachelor Degree in counseling.
