FIGHTING FOR EQUAL RIGHTS WITH NO CONTRIBUTION IN FAMILY IS USELESS- ANNET MUGISHA

Women have been called upon to handle their husbands with extra care in order to persuade them to offer love in back and participate in developmental activities as heads of families.
The call was made yesterday by Mrs Anet Katusiime Mugisha, The director Bamugisha welfare limited.
She was launching women saving schemes known as obubokisi in Kashenyi ward, Ishaka Division Bushenyi Ishaka Municpality a function that was held at the home of Mr Alex Mutaryebwa, the chairperson local council one Kashenyi 1 cell.
Katusiime said that fighting for equal rights with no contribution in a family is useless.
She implored women to use their compounds and verandahs to grow vegetables and fruits to raise income.
Katusiime contributed 1.6 million shillings to eight women saving schemes in cells Kashenyi ward each group taking 200,000 shillings.
She hopes that in three years each group will be able to raise more than 10 million which will help them to pay school fees for their children and cater other family needs.
