196 GRADUATE FROM ZION INSTITUTE, MP COWBOY URGES GRADUATES TO EMBRACE TECHNOLOGY

The Bushenyi -Ishaka Municipality Mp Hon. Gordon Arinda commonly known as Cowboy has requested graduands not to base only on their professionals and papers acquired from schools but also try other activities if they are to achieve success.
Speaking as the chief guest at the 5th graduation ceremony of Zion Institute for tertiary studies held at Bushenyi Municipal play ground, Gordon asserted that after their studies, graduands should not put their eyes on government as their only source of jobs but also create their own.
He further urged graduands to exploit modern technology to build their destiny saying that they should use social media platforms like whatsapp, face book, Twitter among others as a line of making money and creating jobs.
Gordon also asked them to stop undermining any kind of job so long as they earn money from it.
196 students have graduated in different courses from Zion Institute of Tertiary studies today during its 5th graduation.
Giving his remarks, the Bishop of West Ankole Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni asked graduands mostly girls to stop being enticed by small luxurious things like money by strangers and promote the sanctity of their lives in order to live a happy and successful future.
The Director of Zion Institute Joan Mashanyu wholeheartedly thanked Rev. can. John Mashanyu for the zeal and good heart of a parent at the institute saying that in whatever aspect, he (Rev. John) has been there.
Addressing the congregation as the guest, Rt. Rev. Yonah Katonene also said that the institute not only emphasize on education but also train the whole person with quality skills.
Certificates were awarded by Prof. Emmanuel Karoro and at the same time he was the main celebrant.
