Christians have started writing to the media accusing Rev.Fr.Alex Mugasha of corruption and other vices.
Letters seen by www.mknewslink.com managing director show that Rev. Fr. was recently transferred from Bitooma to Buhweju because he was corrupt.
According to the former parish council chairman, also town clerk Rwentuha town council Willy Mwesigire, Fr. Mugasha rented the tea estate for 6 years which was against the normal procedure for Bitooma parish.
He noted that the pupils of St.Claria Primary School broke off from the school for second term two weeks before official closure because father had drawn money from the school.
Willy also alleged that the father replaced him as parish council chairman with a primary five graduate so that the issues of accountability would be limited.
However speaking to www.mknewslink.com on phone today,Fr. Mugasha noted that Willy and his group were stealing from the church adding that when he eliminated them they arose to accuse him of fake accounts.
He accepted that its true he rented the tea estate for 6 years and bought a new raver 4 vehicle which is registered in the names of the diocese and he left it at the parish when he was transferred.
The father said that his transfer was a promotion since Bitooma started 25 years ago whereas Buhweju is older but not as Willy and group allege
