This year has been one of the most amazing ones when it comes to moments regarding Western Uganda music, and as we are yet to finish it, a new promising artist came out and he is already breaking records.
The versatile singer songwriter and performing artist Hillary Bagambe aka High Flier Article aged 25 is an upcoming artist from Kibatsi S/C in Ntungamo district and has got known for his thrilling voice when singing.

The star High Flier has come out with a brand new track entitled Rwengakaba which is already making wonders and winning media airplays both in and outside western Uganda.
In the weeks since it has been released, the song has racked up most fans in clubs and music libraries.
Before, he found his musical identity which is tricky in its own unique way, he wrote Ekidongo (Okukyakara nekyebeyi), Aligo Aligo, I call you, Kampala, Baby gal among others.
Additionally, High Flier says he has already secured collabos with Ugandan Big artistes who include Ziza Bafana the Bantu Baffe Singer, Khalifa Aganaga amongst others which he thinks they will make him reach far.
The young star made his debut in music industry in 2016 after releasing a song Aligo Aligo that went viral making him gain hopes that perhaps one day he will make it to the top.
High Flier is not only a singer but a person who has altleast studied up to S.6 at Kingsway High School in Kampala and his OLevel at Kibatsi secondary School in Ntungamo District.

In Rubirizi
Two children were on Friday morning burnt after fire razed the house they were living in, at Katerera town council in Rubirizi District.
Police identified the deceased as Trump Abaasa, 5, and Pauline Owomugisha, 3.
The greater Bushenyi Regional Police Spokesperson, Martial Tumusiime, confirmed the incident saying that the deceased children belong to Patrick Ndyanabo, a police constable attached to Rukungiri Police Station and Jennifer Atwiine who operates a restaurant in Katerera town.
Preliminary investigations indicate that fire gutted the house at about 10.00am on Friday when one of the children was playing with the matchbox by lighting fire from it, before it gutted the house and they died on spot.
Tumusiime said that the mother had left them in the house to go and operate her usual business in the same town.
Herbert Tumwesigye, a neighbour, said that efforts by residents to rescue the children from the blistering fire flames were futile as they could not contain the fire.
He added that children did not take long to die

The family of the late Eliyazali Rushegyera has revealed that they are not going to Kazo district for the burial of their slain son Joshua Rushegyera.
According to the statement released by Martin Rushegyera the heir on the social media, as a family they thought they would lay Joshua to rest by the resting place of his mother in Kashari or near their father’s grave in Rwenjeru Bushenyi.

Martin noted that however ,the family members in Bushenyi are disheartened that some people so powerful on Joshuas late mother’s side have dictated to bury his remains at his maternal Uncle’s place in Kazo in total disregard to Rushegyeras leanage and ancestry customs.

He added that this is a very big embarrassment and disappointment not only to the Rushegyera Family, but to the people of Kashari, Rwenjeru, Bushenyi District, and the Basingo Clan.
Martin concluded noting that therefore as a family they resolved not to go to Kazo for burial, but wished their son and brother an eternal rest.

At least 54 candidates graduated from Victoria University yesterday 6th Sept.2019 in different academic fields at a function held at Commonwealth Resort hotel Munyonyo in Kampala.
Speaking at the function, the inspirational speaker, Dr. Ham Mulira former Minister of ICT advised graduands to use the current technology to acquire skills that will make them remain relevant in the market.

In an interview with the director of Victoria University Mr. Rajiv Rupaleria, he noted that they will work hard to ensure that Victoria University continues to produce quality products that are competitive in the market.

However, the vice chancellor Dr. Khristino took all the guests for lunch and other goodies at Commonwealth resort hotel Munyonyo.

With the recent spike in urban crime, however, he is seen in some quarters to be losing his grip on national security.
