Several people including bodaboda operators at Ruhoko trading centre in Ibanda Municipality have expressed concern over too much bad and unpleasant smell from bodies in nearby mortuary.
The residents said that the stinking smell of bodies at Ruhoko Health centre 1V which are rotting has forced many people who use the road to complain especially those who are waiting to board the Buses, Bodabodas and taxis.
It is alleged that the smell is sent from over three unclaimed bodies that have spent two weeks at Ruhoko Health center 1V rotting.
While speaking to www.mknewslink.com reporter, residents
said that the alleged unclaimed bodies were
brought by police two weeks ago and so far they are producing bad smell which gives them hard time.
They commended that they no longer eat meals because the whole area
is surrounded by bad smell and flies.
However Mr. Micheal Akaturinda, the OC Station at Ibanda Police said that the unclaimed dead bodies were picked from different parts and up to now they are still waiting for their relatives to come and claim them and if they fail to be identified they will be buried soon.
