RWAMPARA DISTRICT FINALLY ELECTS INTERIM LCV BOSS

The new district of Rwampara has finally elected the interim chairperson after a period of four months since it was launched on 1st July 2019.
The returning officer electoral commission Rwampara district Nicholas Twinomujuni announced Asaph Muhangi as the interim chairperson.
The Rwampara district interim district chairperson elections flopped two times due to lack of quorum since out of 7 councilors only 4 councilors turned up.
In his remarks the newly elected chairperson Asaph Muhangi revealed that the only challenge that is disturbing the people of Rwampara is bad politics.
Mbarara grade one magistrate Sanyu Mukasa presided over the swearing in.
Some of the councilors who talked to our reporter promised to work with the newly elected chairperson for the development of the district despite the hiccups that led to the delay of electing the interim chairperson.
