20 people including 6 women were last night arrested in Curfew that was made by security and army officers.
Among the arrested were 6 women who were selling alcohol against presidential directives that brings about the curfew which starts 7:00 pm till 6: 30 am.
Acording to the Police public relation officer Greater Bushenyi SP Martial Tumusime, the arrested will be held until Sunday Morning as they celebrate Easter in the police cells .
Martial added that the curfew ends on Sunday therefore people should wait until the president gives the address then see if he adds more days.
Curfew started on 30th March and it will end on Sunday 12th April 2020 , Many residents of Bushenyi have fallen victims and taken to grade one magistrate convicted and fined Ugshs 60,000.
The first Covid 19 case was detected on 21st at Entebbe International Airport and he was from Dubai but no one has died though Uganda has registered 53 cases.

Chris Muganzi the Member of Parliament aspirant for Bushenyi -Ishaka Municipality has warned Ugandans to celebrate Easter without forgetting Corona Virus.
He noted that Easter celebrations should not make Ugandans forget directives of the president in a bid to fight the deadly Coronavirus .
He made these remarks through an exclusive phone interview with www.mknewslink.com reporter today morning.
Muganzi advised that Ugandans should keep reminded that security will continue operating to maintain order , and urged people to stop taking walks , loitering in trading centers with no reason but to stay home and stay safe.
“We shall take over CORONA VIRUS if we become wise as well as spies on one another by reporting anyone with signs and symptoms of Coronavirus to the authorities,” Muganzi said .
Muganzi told www.mknewslink.com that Covid 19 respects no national borders , social bounds , political systems and cultural values and to fight it ,Ugandans should avoid touching their soft body parts including nose, face ,mouth.
He added that they need to be vigilant by wash hands frequently , covering their mouth when coughing and sneezing ,ensuring that foods like eggs are well cooked , and keeping some social distance from one another.
He warned people against shaking of hands, body to body contact in connection with elbows and gatherings mostly in groups of around 5-10 people as it has been said.

Authorities in Ibanda district have restricted the slaughter of animals and selling of meat from ungazetted places to stop the spread of Coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Ordinarily, villagers contribute money and buy animals mostly cattle, for days like Easter and Christmas that they slaughter from home of one of the contributors.
However, health and political leaders as well as government officials in Ibanda say the exercise exposes the community to Covid-19 and need strict supervision and control.
Vincent Mugisha, the district health surveillance coordinator said only few people will be allowed to slaughter a cow as the other contributing members or buyers wait at a recommended distance for their shares.
“We know that meat is a sensitive issue, but we must strict and deploy police to ensure only five people are involved in the slaughter and distribution of communally bought cows,” said Mugisha.
He added that meat traders must also follow health ministry guidelines while slaughtering and selling meat.
District chairman Melechiades Kajwengye had earlier suggested that people should only be allowed to slaughter animals in trading centres gazetted by the authorities.
“With Covid-19, we have to regulate the exercise and ensure that people don’t form crowds while slaughtering, buying or sharing meat for the communally bought animals,” he said.
Joseph Bataringaya, the Ibanda OWC coordinator, said clear and strict guidelines on animal slaughter are required, adding that meat sellers need to observe social distancing during the exercise.
Ibanda DISO Charles Muhanguzi, blamed the practice of slaughtering animals from ungazetted areas on lack of control by town clerks, municipality leaders and vets.
He said animals should be slaughtered under the strict supervision of vets and the Police to ensure they observe health ministry guidelines and presidential directives.
Aloysious Kasingye, who represented the CAO, ordered all veterinary officers at sub-counties to be on duty to supervise the slaughter and sell of meat that day.
However, some members called for limiting of celebrations and slaughter of animals during Easter, saying the current situation does warrant merry-making.

Ntungamo Police have summoned the Nyakagando Village Chairperson Saturday Ernest Kamanda to answer to charges of obstructing police officers as they implemented the presidential directives to close bars, shops with non food items.
The summons dated 7th April 2020 wants Kamanda to report to the investigating office on Friday 10th April 2020 at 2:00pm to provide valuable information in the matter.
The Officer in Charge of Ruhaama Sub County Police station in Ntungamo District Charles Muhoozi on Monday opened a case of obstructing police officers on duty against the Nyakagando village chairperson Saturday Ernest Kamanda.
Muhoozi opens the case two days after the Nyakagando village chairperson Saturday Ernest Kamanda filed a case of assault against the police officer to the State House Anti-Corruption Unit.
It is alleged that Charles Muhoozi, the Officer in Charge of Ruhaama Sub County Police station assaulted Kamanda at Nyakagando trading center over the weekend.
Kamanda says Muhoozi and another police officer allegedly assaulted him after he asked them not to brutalize people in the trading center where he also owns some businesses.
Kamanda, says he on Monday registered a case to Nakalema’s Anti-corruption unit through a phone call and is waiting for their action on the police officer.
The Ntungamo Police Station, Crime Investigations officer, Godis Twinamastiko, confirms the police officer have opened the case.
Twinamastiko, says they are currently investigating two counter accusation cases after the police officer also opened a case against the chairperson.
He says the Chairperson is now charged with inciting the public and obstructing police officers on duty.
Twinamastiko says he is not aware if the chairperson has registered a case with State house Anti- corruption unit but he is aware he opened a case at the police station and the implicated persons have recorded statements.

Ntungamo Resident District Commissioner, George Bakunda says he was informed that the chairperson interfered the officers as they implemented the presidential directive of closing bars.
Kamanda says he had recorded statement at Ntungamo Police Station.
Samson Kasasira, Rwizi Region Police spokesperson says a case was entered into the criminal registry book under case number SD ref 34/3/4/2020.
Mariam Natasha, the spokesperson to State House Anti-Corruption Unit confirms to press that the chairperson opened a case with the Unit over the weekend.
