ARCHBISHOP BAKYENGA DONATES 4998 KG OF MAIZE FLOUR TO MBARARA CORONA VIRUS TASK FORCE

The Archbishop of Mbarara catholic Archdiocese His grace Paul Kamuza Bakyenga has donated 4998 kilograms of maize flour to Mbarara district Corona virus task force as food relief to the needy.
The relief of 4998 kg packed in packets of 6 kg was today morning received by the RDC who also doubles as task force chairperson James Mwesigye.
Bakyenga said that there are many struggling needy people affected by the lock down to stem the spread of corona virus most especially in towns.
Bakyenga appealed to all church leaders to kneel down and to pray to God so that He intervenes in Covid-19 fight which has left people suffering and dying in Europe.
In his remarks the RDC Mbarara district James Mwesigye warned people who are accusing to say that Mbarara district task force of eating food relief to the needy to be careful with whatever they say.
James noted that he has already directed town clerk and his committee to distribute these foods door to door but not to call everybody to receive.
