Rubirizi district Covid 19 task force has collaborated with media and other artists to release a song against the spread of corona virus.
The song titled “Bye Bye Coronavirus” was initiated by Nahamya Joseph aka Jose Smile, a local artiste based in Rubirizi district.
The song especially the video has attracted attention from the public as it aims at sensitizing people about Coronavirus and applauding the efforts injected in by His Excellency Yoweri kaguta Museveni, the ministry of health and national task force to curb the spread of the pandemic.
The Rubirizi task force members who featured in the video include RDC Harriet Nakamya, CAO Ruyimbazi James, DHO Dr Tibenda Sete, and Chairman LCV Sylvester Agubashongorera, DISO Beteitse Henry and OC Station Rubirizi ASP Ochaya Kennedy.
Others are MP Bunyaruguru Hon John Twesigye Ntamuheire, District woman MP Kesande Grace, District Health Educator Ainomugisha Patience, Deputy CAO Ahimbisibwe Leonard, and MP Katerera Katooto Hatwib among others.
