A 54-year-old man in Bushenyi is in dilemma after mobile money conmen allegedly conned his wife of 490,000 shillings.

Jackson Nagaba a resident of Bwatogo cell Central division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality could not hold back the tears as he narrated his fate to www.mknewslink.com  reporter .

Nagaba told our reporter that his wife Olivia Nasingura received a fake message from conmen who claimed to had accidentally sent 950,000 to her Mobile money number then requested her to send back 490,000

He explained that the wife rushed to the nearest mobile money agent and told her to deposit 490,000 to the number she had been sent by conmen but on trying to make a withdraw from her number, there was no any money.

He noted that the wife was immediately arrested for two days so he had to sell his every property to raise 350,000 which he paid at police and the wife was released.

According to Nagaba, a father of three children, his wife was re-arrested yesterday and taken back into Police custody where she is still kept up to now.

He confessed to our reporter that he has no any other means of raising the remaining money after he has sold every thing and borrowed from every possible source.

Nagaba calls upon the public to come to his rescue with any form of assistance let it be financial support or advice that can help him get his wife out of the cells.

However, when www.mknewslink.com tried to inquire from the Greater Bushenyi Police PRO SP Martial Tumusiime, he noted that he was not aware of the developments.

Residents of Nyabubaare, Bushenyi district are in great fear following the loss of one of their own who went missing for two days.

According to Kambuzi Farmers’ SACCO, Elly Muhereza who is their manager went missing on 8^th June 2020 and it is alleged that he was kidnapped.

In a Facebook post on the SACCO’s official page by the Chairman board, the SACCO was announcing the missing of their manager who according to the poster was either killed or kidnapped.

They added that Muhereza’s phones were all off and that he didn’t go with any one.

The greater Bushenyi regional police spokesperson, SP Marcial Tumusiime told www.mknewslink.com that so far, no information has been acquired by the police about the matter.
