MP KAHONDA WARNS HIS ELECTORATES AGAINST ELECTING LEADERS WHO WILL DIVIDE THEM

The Member of Parliament for Ruhinda in Mitooma district Capt. Dononzio Kahonda has advised voters to avoid electing leaders who helpful instead of those that will divide them during and after elections.\
Capt. Dononzio Kahonda said these while opening up a bridge that connects Bukuba and Kyanzeire parishes in Kashenshero sub-county, Mitooma district on Saturday 18th July 2020.
The bridge cost shs 9.5 million and other bridges were still being constructed including those in Kabira sub-county that will cost up to 9.8 million and another one for 17 million.
Residents in Kyanzire have for long been stranded with their agricultural products especially tea leaves, Matooke due to poor transport means to connect them to Kashenshero, Mitooma, Ishaka and other places.
Children have always faced hardship while crossing from Kyanziire to Bukuba primary school due to lack of connection between the two parishes.
Hon. Kahonda said though it’s not a role of MPs to build bridges, he does it for his people to test the sweetness of a good leader.
Lawrence Banturaki, Vice chairperson Kashenshero sub-county thanked Kahonda for his good heart and said they have been badly in need of that bridge since most patients from Kyanzire had always lacked ways of accessing treatment from Kashenshero health Centre III.
