TWO IBANDA NRM WOMAN MP CANDIDATES DONATE AMBULANCES TO DISTRICT

Two candidates eyeing Ibanda woman parliamentary seat have each provided an ambulance to handle emergency cases during NRM primary voting process and after.
The vehicles have been handed to the District Health Officer’s office by Ms. Jovuline Kaliisa, the incumbent and Ms. Jane Bainomugisha both battling for NRM flag.
The Resident District Commissioner, Ibanda Mr. Eliasto Akatuheebwa, confirmed the receipt of the two vehicles adding that they will handle emergencies such as; transporting expectant mothers, accident victims as well sick patients both from Ibanda South , Ibanda North and Ibanda municipality council.
“The two vehicles have been donated by the women who are contesting for the seat in the NRM primaries and we expect to use them in case of accidents especially if one aspirant wins election and voters become violent.
