The presidential candidate for Alliance for National Transformation Party Gen. Mugisha Muntu has revealed that he advised President Museveni to retire peacefully but he gave him a deaf ear.

Gen. Mugisha Muntu was today 13^th Nov.2020 campaigning in Bushenyi district at its main play ground in Bushenyi town.

Muntu noted that it’s unfortunate that Gen. Museveni’s government has fallen down on him calling upon the people of Bushenyi to save this nation from Museveni’s fallen regime.

Mugisha Muntu pointed out that Bushenyi can change the whole nation if it supports him since it is a model district.

Gen. Mugisha Muntu who was from Rubirizi in the morning continued to Sheema district after addressing his supporters in Bushenyi.

In Bushenyi—

Grade one Magistrate in Bushenyi has dismiised an application filed by Robby Muhumuza a daily monitor board member requesting court to close a road and stop residents from using it.

His worship Christopher Tindyebwa ruled that closing the road will cause inconveniences since it is used by over 35 families.

During the magistrate’s visit at the scene, Robby Muhumuza testified that he helped Nimwesiga to temporarily use the road while transporting his building materials and none of his property was destroyed.

Basing on this background, the magistrate dismissed the application and advised the complainant to wait until the main suit is completed.

In Sheema

The minister of Justice and Internal affairs Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu has warned Sheema south residents against degrading and destroying the environment.

Prof. Kamuntu sounded the warning while commissioning a government funded water project in Rwamunena, Kishaabya -Sheema district.

His warning comes at a time when many areas in Uganda are being hit by floods, hailstorm as a result of heavy rains due to public encroachment on natural environment.

The project worth 14billion shillings was started in Feb. 2018 by ANHUI-SIJIAN HOLDING COMPANY LIMITTED and it will be handed over to National Water and Sewerage Corporation on 19^th November 2020.

This water project will serve different areas in Nyeihanga,Ruhorobero Kishaabya and all areas of Sheema district.

Some of the beneficiaries hailed the Government of Uganda and president Museveni for the donation.

In Mbarara

Police in Mbarara City has today orning engaged itself in running battles with Gen. Henry Tumukunde supporters as he tried to access Kakyeka Stadium where he was supposed to deliver his Campaign message.

Tumukunde was supposed to address the masses at Booma grounds in Mbarara but was later disrupted by security operatives who directed him Kakyeka stadium

However, Tumukunde was again denied access to Kakyeka over to yet to be known reasons.

Gen. Tumukunde Henry who is running as an independent candidate for presidency was today supposed to address his supporters in Mbarara then continue with his campaign struggle to the districts of Kiruhura, Kazo and Ibanda .

Sheema South County legislator Prof. Ephraim Kamuntu has vowed to unite all NRM supporters in Sheema district for the common goal of winning the 2021 general elections.

Kamuntu who also doubles as the minister for Justice and constitutional affairs was on Wednesday November 11^th 2020 launching his campaigns and manifesto for the 2021 general elections.

Kamuntu was declared the NRM flag bearer after the controversial NRM party primaries where 2 other contestants had also claimed victory.

Speaking at the launch at Kishabya West Cell in Kishabya ward, Shuuku Town council in Sheema district, the minister called upon all party lovers to stop hatred and support the flag bearers for the betterment of the party and Uganda at large.

He assured voters that NRM is the only strong party in Uganda with even 8 Parliamentarians who are unopposed for 2021 general elections.

He said that UPC only has 43 candidates, DP 120 candidates and FDC 208 who can’t even make up a half of Parliamentary members but NRM has candidates in all 146 Ugandan districts.

Voters who talked to www.mknewslink.com reporter thanked Prof. Kamuntu for delivering quality services to his people but asked him to solve the problem of poor feeder roads and lobby for money to support women empowering projects.

Prof Kamuntu is facing stiff competition from Elijah Mushemeza, Moses Mwebesa and Rodden Kyankaaga all independent candidates.

In Bushenyi—

Kabagarame market a popular pork market was last week burnt down by unknown people amidst preparation to reopen tomorrow.

Almost 10 hats of the market nationally known for preparing and selling good and high class pork were burnt on the mid night of Thursday last week.

Speaking to www.mknewslink.com, some vendors said that they had approached the RDCs office pleading for the reopening of Kabagarame for their survival before the market was set ablaze.

Robert Bisigarahi one of vendors said that they suspect their counterpart in Bushenyi town set the fire as a way of stopping them from reopening.

However, most of the traders were found at the market were preparing their home places for tomorrow’s opening.

Boonabaana Constance told www.mknewslink.com that they are happy for being allowed to open again adding that loans have been on their neck and their daily living had become alarming.

Kijana Nathan commonly known as Kijanaman Omutuze also aspiring for councillorship of Central division where Kabagarame is found urged people to follow SOPs tomorrow while at their long waited for venue of pork and other food staff.
