BUSHENYI: KAKANJU NRM REGISTRAR, 2 OTHERS REMANDED OVER LIVESTOCK THEFT

Court in Bushenyi has today 29th June 2021 remanded Kakanju NRM registrar Jowas Musinguzi and two others over livestock theft.
Jowas Musinguzi and two of his colleagues; Smith Kaganzi a resident of Kabare Kakanju ,Ibra Atwebembeire of Kibingo were apprehended over the previous weekend after they were caught red handed with two stolen goats.
The acting Bushenyi DPC Titus Kitosi confirmed the arrest of Musinguzi adding that they would be taken to court to answer to charges of livestock theft.
Court also heard that the three had stolen 42 goats from 7 homes though 26 of them were recovered
Now, the Bushenyi grade one magistrate Adyeeri Tindyebwa has remanded them to prison up to 24th August 2021on 7 charges of goat theft.
