MP ANNET MUGISHA KNEELS DOWN TO THANK KYEIZOOBA SUB-COUNTY VOTERS

Bushenyi district woman Member of Parliament Ms Annet Katusiime Mugisha was today afternoon July 26, 2021 forced to kneel down to thank Bwera parish, Kyeizooba sub-county residents for giving her overwhelming support in Feb. 2021 parliamentary elections.
“There is no single Member of Parliament in Uganda who matches my percentage. Am a head of every MP in terms of percentage,” MP Katusiime said
She conducted the exercise during burial ceremony of Mzee Benon Kironde the chairman LCI Nyakigabagaba who passed on yesterday.
MP Katusiime noted that during campaigns, there were false tellers in district and Bwera parish in particular but they were rejected by voters.
She rallied the people of Bushenyi district to continue with village saving Banks [Obubokisi] adding that they should not be misinformed and share the money.
She promised to come soon to the villages to ascertain the performance of these villages saving Banks. She said that she would even add in more money.
MP Annet Mugisha through a family company, Bamugisha community welfare provided seed capital before campaigns to village saving banks; approximately three village saving banks in one village.
Mzee Benon Kironde is a father of Sam Kamwesiga Kironde of National Water and Sewerage Corporation and Ms Sarah Kasozi the wife to Dr. Allan Kasozi of ministry of health headquarters.
Other dignitaries who attended the burial include; Eng. Francis Kateeba the general manager NWSC Mbarara area, Mr. Paul Kahiigi principal Public Relations Officer NWSC western Uganda, Kyeizooba NRM chairman Eldard Karukiiko Kihiikire, Kyeizooba sub-county chairman Mr Bakikunde, former candidate for LCV councilor in Kyeizooba sub-county Mr. David Kamukama among others.
