BUSHENYI: STOP DRINKING ALCOHOL IN CLOSED BARS, PAST CURFEW TIME— MINISTER PEACE REGIS MUTUUZO

The Minister of state for Gender, Labor and Social development Ms. Peace Regis Mutuuzo has warned people of greater Bushenyi to stop drinking alcohol inside closed bars.
Peace Mutuuzo said this today morning at Bushenyi Municipal hall while on a valuation tour of Nabanja’s cash which was given to 3,714(three thousand seven hundred fourteen) vulnerable people
She gave an assignment to RDC of Bushenyi who was represented by Enock Kariisa the Deputy DISO to immediately arrest and stop those drinking from bars while closed inside at night past curfew time.
She instead advised the residents to buy and pack their alcohol before curfew times and drink from their homes.
She noted that 3,714(three thousand seven hundred fourteen) Bushenyi residents benefited from the fund while 19 did not get because of the limited resources.
She further called upon teachers to diversify to other income generating activities like brick laying, boda boda riding among others. This will help them earn more income in case lockdown is extended.
Asked on why the government has failed to secure medicine for fifteen million children and students so that they can report back to school, Mutuuzo noted that they are working hard to vaccinate teachers and children above eighteen years.
The minister appreciated the Mk News Link managing director Wilber Muhwezi Kasibante Muhwezi M.D for having finished his doze and called upon journalists and boda bodas to get vaccinated because they move a lot and can contract the disease.
The minister was last night on NBS Television castigated the parliament for giving them little money, (fifty four billion shillings) to be distributed in less than month which she said caused all the errors.
