By Ambrose Kweronda
In Rukungiri—
Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner Stephen Nsubuga Bewayo has asked residents to report any person they suspect to be a criminal to the responsible district security authorities.
The RDC’s remark comes at a time security authorities in the district are hunting for two-armed robbers who participated in Tuesday’s robbery at For God electronics that left one dead and another one injured.
Nsubuga noted that they have already arrested one suspect Dominic Twinomugisha 19 years a resident of Katete cell who is helping them in investigations.
He however revealed that they have reliable information that the remaining two armed suspects are still around Rukungiri district.
He thus called upon residents to report any new person they suspect to be a criminal to the responsible security authorities for immediate action.
He further cautioned the youth to distance themselves from criminal acts in the name of getting easy money but start up productive projects that will help them get money because all the suspects in this case are youths.
