The Ruwenzori diocese is mourning the death of their Archdeacon who passed on Friday evening.
The body of the Late Ven. Rev. Can. Steven Kasoro the Archdeacon Mukole Archdeaconry in Kyenjojo District has today been laid to rest at his a central home in Kyabikongi Village in Kyarusozi Kyenjojo District.
The Late Ven. Rev. Can. Kasoro succumbed to Kidney Failure and Phenomena at 64years.
The Archdeacon Nyantungo Archdeaconry Ven. Rev. Steven Kalyebara asked the parents to educate their children and to prepare for retirement as how Canon Rev. Kasoro Stephen did.
What surprised mourners is that the deceased, directed the ban on wreaths onto his coffin saying this degrades the environment.
The deceased directed that wreaths should always be brought to people when they are sick through visiting and supporting them while on sick bed.
Preaching to Mourners at the Burial held in Kyabikongi Kyenjojo District, the Bishop of Ruwenzori diocese the Rt. Rev. Reuben Kisembo Amooti asked Mourners to repent their sins, leave an exemplary God fearing life and do good deeds while still on earth as they hope for eternal life.
Present was Hon. Victoria Businge Rusoke the Minister of State for Local Government who described the Late Rev. Kasoro as a man of humility, disciplinarian who inculcated good morals in his children hence asking parents to be responsible in protecting the children from early marriages as the schools remain closed.
