KABALE MAN DIES MYSTERIOUSLY, BODY FOUND IN WATER TRENCH

Police in Kabale are investigating the circumstances under which a 56 year old man ended up dead in a trench of water.
Elly Maate the Kigezi Regional police spokesperson identified the deceased as Nicholas Barugahare man aged 56 years,a Cattle keeper, and resident of Butare cell, Kitumba parish, Kitumba subcounty, Kabale district.
It’s alleged that, the deceased has been working at the Farm of Tusiime James as cattle keeper and was last seen on the 08/01/2022, at around 1800hrs, at Kazigezige trading centre with his boss Tusiime James where by the two departed and the deceased proceeded on to the farm for work, from there he never reported home as usual.
Maate said that yesterday the 09/01/2022 at around 07:15am Arineitwe Moses a worker at the farm of Rwakahanda Pasikali with in the same area while proceeding for work,found the dead body of the deceased lying in a trench of water with in the farm of Tindimwebwa Silva of the same area.
Immediately, Arineitwe went and informed the chairperson LC1 Butare cell Mr Rwakari Protazio who notified the Kitumba police post and a report of murder was registered at Kabale
Scene was visited by Homicide team and processed by SOCO, and body conveyed to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Inquiries are still at hand to ascertain the cause of death, motive and the suspects involved.
The case of murder by strangulation was recorded down at Kabale central police station under case file number CRB: 012/2022
