BSU VC TELLS OFF SHEEMA LEADERS; KEEP SCHOOLS OUT OF YOUR POLITICS

The Bishop Stuart University vice Chancellor Prof. Mauda Kamatenesi has asked leaders of Sheema to keep politics out of school leadership.
“We might have had different political ambitions but the fact that the season ended, let’s remove politics in school leadership,” Prof Kamatenesi advised.
She said all these on 4/2/2022 while speaking as a chief guest at a thanksgiving ceremony for her former school Kasaana 1 Primary School in Sheema District.
Prof. Mauda thanked the Head teacher and the entire leadership for the great work being done at school.
She asked parents to believe in God, love their schools and support girl child education.
“Am a living testimony. A young girl that grew and studied at Kasaana 1 P/S to be now a Professor. God will lift you to greater heights,” Prof Kamatenesi noted.
Prof joined the rest in fundraising for building of class block and renovating the school.
Karuhanga Nelson the LCV councilor Kasaana sub county and the Old boy of Kasaana 1 P/s stressed that they are working hard to push Kasaana 1 to a national level.
The school Headteacher Mr Karuhanga Edson thanked parents for entrusting him with their children, Old students for the support and good job being done at their school and promised them better PLE results.
The function was attended by parents, old students including Can. Apollo Buzare the chairman school management committee, Kasaana sub county LCIII chairperson Eldard Mwesigye who doubles as the PTA Chairman, Dr. Nicholas, Sheema District inspector of schools Sempa Muzafaru, Sheema District vice chairperson and councilors, among many others.
