MBARARA: POLICE EMBARK ON SENSITIZING SCHOOL HEADS ON FIRE OUTBREAKS

Following four schools fire incidences registered in Rwizi Region, police have embarked on sensitizing all the school heads on how to combat such incidences.
Speaking to this online website, ASP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi Police mouthpiece revealed that police investigations have it that of the four fire cases, three cases were suspected arsons attacks.
Kasasira asserted that police investigations indicated that the fire that caught boys’ dormitories at Mbarara secondary School, the one at St. Andrews secondary School in Rubindi and that one of Head teacher’s office plus the staff room at Mbarara View High School in Katete , Mbarara city south Division were all suspected arsons attacks.
The police Mouthpiece further revealed that the fire which caught one of the dormitories at Rushanje Girls Secondary School in Rweibogo cell , Rweibogo ward , Bugamba Subcounty’ Rwampara District was as a result of a short circuit.
Kasasira added that as one way of combating such incidents police in Rwizi Region will hold Sensitization meetings with all the Head teachers with in the region at the district level.
