MAN BRUTALLY KILLS WIFE IN KAGADI

KAGADI:
Police in Kagadi district are investigating circumstances under which a man killed his wife on her way to buy food at the trading centre.
The gruesome incident happened on Monday at around 9:30pm in Kasoga village in Muhorro sub-county Kagadi district.
The suspect identified as Deus Kadogo killed the wife Annet Ensinikweri, 30, when she remained behind to receive a phone call of a yet to be identified person.
According to Gerald Kapawaso, a resident, the duo was moving together at night but the deceased remained behind to receive a phone call, a minute later heard an alarm from her calling for help.
‘’On rushing for rescue, we found Ensinikweri in a pool of blood, picked and rushed her to the nearby clinic but unfortunately she died,’’ Kapawaso explained.
Jenifer Nshekanabo, the deceased’s sister, said she was shocked by the brutal killing of her sister.
Meanwhile, according to the leaders, after receiving the information they rushed to the scene and informed the police.
Preliminary investigations show that suspect Deus and the deceased had quarrelled in the afternoon at a bar in Ibanda LC1.
