Mitooma town council treasurer Kajangu has gone missing for now close to two weeks after court brokers run after him through banana plantations around and thereafter successful arrested him and took him to Mbarara.
The above information is according to credible sources and are following him because of high level of indebtedness.

Kajangu is being demanded money from different individuals and SACCOs, many banks and money lenders.
The bank that arrested Kajangu recently was Nyakayojo people’s SACCO, Nyakayojo division Mbarara city.

The indebtedness of Kajangu started from Kashenshero town council when he was working with Arthur Nzeyimana. Nzeyimana was and he is still the town clerk of the above town council.

Kajangu because of greedy and too much appetite for money, him and the town clerk of Kashenshero withdrew powers from the engineer and started taking up contracts and engineer remained powerless.

He was transferred from Kashenshero to Mitooma town councils and because of indebtedness due to multiple borrowing, treasurers of the district and other town councils are arrested accidentally thinking they are Kajangu.

According to sources, Kajangu can’t be traced anywhere either by family members or any one because they don’t know whether he is being held by money lenders or banks.

An angry mob in Mbarara City on Tuesday lynched a man accused of killing his wife.

The mob victim has been identified as Vincent Nyirarubanda 30 years old trader dealing in clothes and a resident of Rubiri cell, Nyamityoobora ward in Mbarara city.

The mob ganged up against Nyirarubanda accusing him of cutting the neck of a yet to be identified lover in her late 20’s at about 09:00Am on Tuesday morning.

Asaph Muhanguzi a neighbor to the family told this reporter that the couple had a serious quarrel on Tuesday morning that generated into a serious fight.

ASP Samson Kasasira the Rwizi police mouthpiece confirmed the two incidences adding that the two bodies of the deceased are lying at Mbarara hospital mortuary.

Kasasira told www.mknewslink.com that the residents turned up against Nyirarubanda beating him severally but fortunately police from Mbarara central police station swung into action and rushed him to Mbarara regional referral hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead on Wednesday morning.

He said the two bodies of the deceased are still at Mbarara regional referral hospital mortuary pending postmortem.

Kasasira added that police findings indicate that the incident resulted from domestic violence that turned into murder and mob action.

The police public relations officer appealed to couples to seek counselling services in case of wrangles .He also cautioned the public against Mob actions.

Jailed Kisoro district NRM Vice Chairperson Ramadhan Ndikuyeze has once again been denied bail.

Ndikuyenze, 50 years was remanded to Ndorwa government prison last week by the chief magistrate’s court on charges of aggravated trafficking of persons.

Prosecution led by Edwin Amanya, told the Court that, Ndikuyeze being a public officer between the months of September 2021 and November 2021 recruited 17-year-old Sarah Mbabazi, by means of abuse of power or position of vulnerability for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

Amanya further told the court that they are finalizing inquiries into the case and are still unable to start hearings because the key witness is still undergoing Witness protection and Psycho-social support in the capital, Kampala.

The prominent businessman who is also the LCIII counciloir for central division was thus denied bail by his Worship Derrick Byaruhanga for the second time.

The Directorate of CID is actively investigating an alleged case of Aggravated Defilement and procurement of Abortion, against a 17-year-old female S.3 student, in one of the schools in Kisoro district, by Ndikuyezi Ramathan, a prominent Estate and fuel dealer in Kisoro district.

The facts gathered indicate that during the COVID lock down, the victim approached the accused for a job at his petrol station.

The accused instead promised her a job in his estate business. It is during one of the inspections of his estate business, that they allegedly got involved and started a love affair till April 2022, when the victim realized she was pregnant and tried to abort secretly, with the help of a medical person in Kisoro.

Due to much fear for her parents, the victim left for Kampala and got a job as a maid at Musawo’s in Bukasa. She however, developed complications and was rushed to Quatum Medical Facility, where it was established that the fetus was still stuck in her womb. The victim was transferred to Nsambya Hospital for better treatment.

Although the victim claims she is 19, her parents claim she is 17 years.

But His Worship Byaruhanga in his ruling about the bail application said that since the victim is on psychosocial support and the file is still with the DPP, it’s hard to hear the bail application.

He therefore remanded the suspect back to Ndorwa government prisons until October 25th 2022 when he will reappear in court for hearing of the case and bail application.
