Dr. Pastor Busuulwa Kayongo of Nsangi Christian fellowship has encouraged believers and church leaders that they should not fear or quit ministry because of failure to breakthrough.
He said they should not be discouraged because of the trial and temptations they are presently facing but urged them to stand firm in faith and see the faithfulness of God.
“If God called you and he spoke to you, stand firm and wait to see God’s faithfulness. The world is waiting to see your ministry and service” Dr. Kayongo said yesterday during his sermon.
Preaching during a thanksgiving service at his church, he narrated a touching testimony of how God had picked him from abject poverty, joblessness to make him an international preacher and development change agent.
“Do not be discouraged by what you see around yourself, keep and walk in faith you will soon make exploits for God because this generation and time to shine in God’s service.
Prophet Elijah, Elisha, King David and Moses of the Bible did exploits for God in their time or generation; this now is your time and generation to shine because God who called you and helped me will do it for you” Dr. Kayongo added.
He said he established Nsangi Christian fellowship 16 years ago, and they started with a papyrus, to a timber makeshift church structure and now God has elevated them to have a magnificent church building.
He said in Judges 6:16, God helped Gideon to defeat God’s enemies – NIV: The LORD answered, ‘I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites, leaving none alive. ‘ Judges 6:16, ESV: And the LORD said to him, “But I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man.”
